Apostle Paul Ekunwe Global Outreach (APEGO)
Apostle Paul Ekunwe is the Founder and Presiding Minister of Apostles' Faith International Christian Assembly (AFICA), The House of Answer to Prayers, and the Founder & International President of Apostle Paul Ekunwe Global Outreach (APEGO).
His ministry is distinguished by a God-given calling to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, establish believers in righteousness, strengthen faith, restore lives through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit, equip leaders for Kingdom service, and take the Gospel to the nations.
Through AFICA and APEGO, Apostle Paul Ekunwe continues to serve the Body of Christ by preaching biblical truth, developing Christian leaders, strengthening marriages and families, promoting humanitarian outreach, and advancing God's Kingdom.
Apostle Paul Ekunwe was born into a Christian family in Edo State, Nigeria. His father, the late Anthony I. Ekunwe, was a devoted member and leader within the Catholic Church.
Although raised in a Christian environment, his personal encounter with God came on 7 March 1990, when the Lord revealed Himself through a life-changing night vision.
In that encounter, he saw the destruction that came upon the earth during the days of Noah because of human unrighteousness. In the vision, God rescued him from the flood and spoke clearly to him, saying that he should turn to Him because he was a chosen vessel for His divine purpose.
This supernatural encounter marked the beginning of his conversion and lifelong commitment to Jesus Christ.
The following Sunday, he attended the nearest Church of God Mission congregation, where he publicly testified of his encounter with God and committed his life to Christ.
Following his conversion, Apostle Paul Ekunwe devoted himself to spiritual growth, biblical study, and Christian service.
After travelling outside Nigeria, he became actively involved in Living Faith Church Worldwide, where he served faithfully in various ministerial responsibilities for approximately fifteen years in both Nigeria and abroad.
During this period, he received practical ministry training, leadership development, and pastoral experience while serving under the leadership of Bishop David Abioye.
He also received theological and ministerial training through Dunamis School of Ministry and Seminary and other Christian leadership institutions, further preparing him for the assignment God had placed upon his life.
As the appointed time approached, Apostle Paul Ekunwe entered an extended season of prayer, fasting, and spiritual preparation.
After completing forty days of fasting and seeking God's direction, he received confirmation to begin the ministry entrusted to him.
With the prayers and blessing of the leadership of Living Faith Church, Abuja, he was prayerfully released into his apostolic assignment.
On 12 July 2015, Apostles' Faith International Christian Assembly (AFICA) was officially inaugurated in Abuja, Nigeria.
Since its inception, AFICA has continued to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ while emphasizing righteousness, faith, prayer, restoration, discipleship, leadership development, and Kingdom advancement.
As the ministry expanded, God gave Apostle Paul Ekunwe a broader vision to reach communities and nations beyond the local church.
This vision gave birth to Apostle Paul Ekunwe Global Outreach (APEGO), the international evangelistic, missionary, leadership development, and humanitarian outreach ministry of AFICA.
